Doesn’t Everything Start to Sag?
I help in my daughter’s kindergarten class most mornings with what her teacher calls “Morning Read”. It’s fun helping the kids read a book each day.
This morning I was reading with one of the kids when the teacher came by and noticed that the oven door to the play kitchen had fallen, which it has recently started doing. A bit frustrated, she closed it and watched it fall yet again. She wondered why it just wouldn’t stay closed anymore.
“It’s old,” I told her. “Doesn’t everything start to sag with age?”
She couldn’t help but laugh.
