Sometimes teens manage to touch your heart rather than drive you up the wall.

I’d been asking my 17 year old daughter what she wanted for Christmas. She has her first job and enjoys spending her own money, but was kind of reluctant to tell me what she wanted for Christmas. Finally she says “You know what Mom, so long as we’re all together I know it will be a good holiday.”

Of course her younger brother had to add “So long as there are lots of presents!!” He’s a bit of a clown sometimes and likes to give us a hard time.

I love watching my daughter see all the toy commercials. She wants it all, so we told her she needed to tell us what her favorites were.

You probably know what happened already.

Everything is her favorite. From Megazords to Bratz to toys much out of her age range. Maybe we just need to invest in Toys R Us stock.
